We’re building a bridge between physical and virtual worlds and dropping NFTs. The auction is live on OpenSea for the first of a series of unique NFTs featuring original oil paintings. Check it out and place your bids !!!
The nifty age of Crypto, DeFi & Blockchains endows us with new tools, but for many of us there was a time not long ago, when the digital realm has played an insignificant role. You know, though, how the situation has changed and continues to evolve as virtual solutions engage us in an attempt to bridge the gap with the physical world. Intertwining is inevitable now.
You could think it is the blessing to unfold all the positive potential that humanity was destined to achieve. And you can definitely observe that a lot of people believe that and find new concepts and technologies very useful in their pursuits of happiness.
In the meantime, other folks (myself included) seem to live in some past centuries, while creating their physical artworks, oil paintings and stuff. And yeah, that’s right – a lot of people prefer the physical attributes of ownership and it’s this other side of the coin that plays a greater role in their endeavours.
Now, doesn’t that seem to you like these are two pieces of the same puzzle? Yes, and they almost fit together. However the picture is much larger and there is an amplifying effect of bridging gaps between the physical and virtual worlds.
NFTs (non fungible tokens) provide a mechanism for building such bridges and becoming the missing piece of the puzzle. Unique, 1-of-1 edition NFTs corresponding to artworks like oil paintings, drawings, sculptures and any kind of art are highly collectible and extremely rare. Digital twins or separate virtual works of art become as real and unique as oil paintings, too.
Finally, artists get access to rights management and royalties like in California 😉 as you are open to decide and set in stone (blockchain) the terms for your contract for the foreseeable future. Seems like a democratization of systems, control functions and the universal moral right to speculate on NFTs freely as every link in the chain benefits from it including the originator – the artist.
The take is that NFTs sound great and have potential – depends on us to make it happen. Thus, logic, curiosity and the practical approach suggest to me and you: Just do it!
