Last Friday I completed the final stage of a humanitarian aid delivery from Münster to Kyiv and picked up the goods just arriving to Lviv. The aid included mostly specialized medications, wheel chairs, food and equipment.
The receiving party is a self organized group of volunteers called “Volunteer North” (orig. “Волонтерська Північ”) whose members and friends, neighbors and acquaintances, about 800 people in total currently serve in Ukraine’s Armed Forces on the southern and eastern fronts. They helped fend off the ruzzia’s attack on Kyiv in February 2022. Now the group of volunteers leverages personal connections in Germany to source aid in order to address specific medical and humanitarian needs.
I am proud to see the widespread activism of civilians I meet these days. It’s another proof of unity and belief in the future of Ukraine – a unitary, independent, progressive Nation shaped by the people and for the people.
Слава Україні!
P.S. remember that the war is still here and there is a lot of need for help in every way. Please keep supporting! Together we will overcome the ruzzian madness and save lives in the process.
