Thank You for making the fundraising campaign successful. I am touched and grateful that so many of You responded to my call and contributed money to enable me to deliver more medical and humanitarian aid, equipment, goods and food to people in need, to hospitals and medical workers, to the army and to move people, when necessary. Your help, indeed, saves lives.

Together we have raised just enough (USD 9850, EUR 2100, UAH 9750) to purchase a used van in decent condition (VW Crafter, 10 seater, 2013, 280K km) for $12500 (plus registration $500). Now the humanitarian delivery efforts are much more effective, because this car can haul up to two metric tons and a large volume of aid that is about six to eight times as much as I could previously deliver with my Chevy Orlando. I’ve already made several runs with this ride to Chernihiv region, Sumy, Pokrovsk, Kramatorsk, Bakhmut and Slovyansk, and it is definitely worth it much more than before.
But, dear Friends and Supporters, we have made it to the start of the second chapter that I do not expect to be easier than the beginning of this story. From what I see closer to the front lines – the humanitarian situation is very, very tough. The hospitals and clinics are in constant need of medical supplies, the soldiers give away their own food to civilians that remained living where ruzzian terrorists are raging, bombing, destroying whatever they can touch. It is up to us, the volunteers on wheels, to do our best and get life’s necessities to all these people that are all fighting for survival of themselves, of our country, of freedom and democracy as principles that are at risk of disappearing everywhere like they did in Crimea and occupied parts of Ukraine.
One thing is certain – thanks to You all we do help minimize the suffering of people and save lives. My friend, supporter, photographer and activist, Dima Kornilov, that drove with us to the eastern frontlines, has been able to stay for a few days with the medics in a Kramatorsk hospital. He was able to document the life saving work being done there with the medical supplies that we delivered… Beware, some of the pictures aren’t for the faint hearted…
Well, we definitely face less problems than the people in these pictures and we definitely can generate more resources to help them.
Please consider joining the circle of supporters, donating repeatedly and continuously, because the running costs to keep the deliveries going are growing as well, because of the rising gas/diesel prices and repairs. According to google maps timeline in May alone I’ve driven 8003km (4973miles), which amounted to about ~$2000 fuel, oil, service costs. Realistically, I expect these costs to rise a bit, as well.
So, please donate AND buy my artworks! Some of you have already become my art collectors and I am grateful that now some of You own artworks from Ukraine, made in Ukraine, made by a Ukrainian friend of Yours and that have acquired a whole new extra layer of meaning – a function of saving lives.
I intend to raise the bar and deliver much more humanitarian aid than ever before.
Please help me help more!!!
